No experience necessary as full tuition and materials to complete the class will be provided. If you have them, please bring basic tool kit of scissors, bone folder and a variety of your chosen adhesives with you. A limited supply will be available.

Light refreshments will be offered throughout.

Cromwell Museum presents The Trial of Charles I on Friday 8th February 2019 at Huntingdon Town Hall at 7:00pm.

The drama, tension and tragedy of the trial of King Charles I will come to Huntingdon Town Hall this February 2019.

On Friday 8th and Saturday 9th February 2019, the Cromwell Museum will be staging dramatised performances recreating the tumultuous events of the trial in January 1649.

Held in the atmospheric surroundings of one of the historic courtrooms in Huntingdon Town Hall, working with members of the Sealed Knot historical re-enactment society, and using original trial records from the Parliamentary Archives, the Museum has produced an edited and dramatised version of the trial, which will be recreated with all the key figures including King Charles I and Oliver Cromwell being played by amateur actors.

The performance will last just over an hour; please note that seating is unassigned. Tickets are £7 per person.

Cromwell Museum presents The Trial of Charles I on Saturday 9th February 2019 at Huntingdon Town Hall at 10.30am.

A dramatic performance bringing to life the extraordinary events of a week in January 1649, when a monarch was put on trial by his Parliament. With the help of members of the Sealed Knot, and based on original trial records, the Cromwell Museum is proud to announce this dramatic presentation of the trial of Charles I, set in the atmospheric surroundings of the historic court room in Huntingdon Town Hall. It will be an experience not to be missed. Do make sure that you visit the associated exhibition in the Cromwell Museum to tie in with this event.

The performance will last just over an hour; please not that seating is unassigned. Tickets are £7 available on eventbrite. For more information please contact the Cromwell Museum.

There will be time slots for the whole day at 10.30am, 12noon, 2.00pm and 3.30pm.

The show is based upon The Addams Family characters created by Charles Addams in his single-panel gag cartoons, which depict a ghoulish American family with an affinity for all things macabre. Although numerous film and television adaptations of Addams' cartoons exist, the musical is the first stage show based on the characters. The Addams Family is also the first show produced by Elephant Eye Theatricals.

These are two separate opportunities for younger students to look in depth at the Museum's portraits, and use varied media to produce their own. These sessions provide a great introduction to the skills and practice of making portraits with Tony Nero, and are complementary to the Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 art curriculums, but will offer a half day of total involvement and fun!
We will invite participants to submit a piece of work that can be displayed in the Museum during the Easter holidays. All art materials are provided as part of the sessions, included in the cost.
Places are £12 per student.

Following Huntingdonshire saxophonist Robert Burton's prize-winning performances in the 2018 'BBC Young Musician of the Year' competition, he returns to his old school to team up with flautist Emma Halnan, herself a BBC Young Musician prize-winner in 2010, and now regularly performing at venues world-wide.

They will present an exciting and varied programme, each in duo with their respective pianists, Manon and Christine, both of whom have already achieved exceptional international success as solo and ensemble players.

Their programme will include music by Donizetti, Prokofiev and Russell Peterson's trio for flute, saxophone and piano.
