Huntingdon In Bloom's Theme for 2022 is Her Majesty the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. In line with tradition, the town proudly displayed two 3D floral displays this year, one to celebrate Her Majesty The Queen's Platinum Jubilee, and the other in support of local charity, Shakespeare at the George for their 2022 production of Romeo and Juliet. Both displays were created using recycled material and a lot of creative flare! As well as floral displays, the In-Bloom entry consisted of a range of projects around the town, involving a wide range of different groups from the local community.

Huntingdon in Bloom were awarded Gold in the Large Town category for Anglia in Bloom, and were also nominated for Britain in Bloom.

The campaign also won the Best Queen's Jubilee Display for the 3D floral display at The Walks East, as well as Best Floral Display by an Individual or Community for Hinchingbrooke Hospital. Ann Colbert, who for years has led the volunteers who look after the gardens at Hinchingbrooke Hospital NHS received the Mike Ames award in recognition of her many years involved with the campaign.
