GDPR and Our Privacy Policy
The new General Data Protection Regulations came into effect on Friday 25th May 2018. To be fully compliant with GDPR, Huntingdon Town Council has updated its privacy policy which outlines how we process your personal information.
The GDPR requires us to tell you the legal reason for processing your personal data, this falls under General Data Protection Regulations Article 6 (1) (a) (b) and (e). In accordance with the law, we only collect a limited amount of information about you that is necessary for correspondence, information and service provision.
If you object to Huntingdon Town Council processing your data, please be aware that upon request, we will stop processing your data immediately and will dispose of the information in a confidential manner. In future, we will be conducting an annual Data Audit.
