* Town Council - Elections *

On 5th May 2011, residents of Huntingdon took to the polls to elect nineteen representatives to Huntingdon Town Council from three wards in the North, West and East of the town. The newly elected Councillors will serve a term of four years, making decisions as a body corporate, ie the Council, determining policy and the shape of local services to meet the needs of local residents.

You are eligible for election if you are over 21 years of age, a Commonwealth citizen or Euro national and an elector, residing or working in Huntingdon or within three miles of it for at least twelve months prior to the election.
