The Council provides an outdoor bowling green at St Peter's Road and it maintains, for Huntingdon Cricket Club, the cricket wicket and outfield on the old "Turnip Piece". For details of use of the cricket wicket, please contact the Town Council on 01480 388687

The Town Council owns the 30 acre Kings Ripton Road Field, now renamed "Huntingdon Jubilee Park", and leases it for football and archery.

Other recreation facilities owned by the Council include the Huntingdon Olympic Gymnastics Club in Clayton's Way and the six rink Indoor Bowls Hall (May to September) at St Peter's Road. Swimming and other indoor sports facilities are provided at the Huntingdonshire District Council’s Leisure Centre, also situated at the St Peter’s Road site, together with new indoor and outdoor tennis facilities completed in 2005.
