Annual Pancake Races 2012 |
The Annual Pancake Races will take place on Tuesday 21st February 2012!
The event will commence at 11.00am close to the entrance of St Benedict's Court
and teams will run to close to Barclays Bank along the High Street.
Lots of prizes! Lots of fun!

The Town Mayor's
Community Shield
 |
Following the Civic
Carol Service held on 14th December 2011, the winner of The Mayor’s
Community Shield 2011/2012 was announced by the Town Mayor, Councillor Alan
Mackender-Lawrence, as Mr Bob Hulstrom.
Mr Hulstrom was awarded the Shield on the basis of nominations received from the
public for his voluntary contribution to improving the quality of lives for
residents in Huntingdon.

Its a double! Huntingdon achieve a GOLD
in the Britain in Bloom Awards at a ceremony held in St Andrews, Scotland.

Huntingdon achieves GOLD in
the Anglia in Bloom awards! |
Its GOLD again for Huntingdon. For
the third year running, Huntingdon has achieved the Gold award in the Large Town
category at the Anglia in Bloom awards ceremony held on 13th September.
Hinchingbrooke Hospital Garden Restoration was the Winner of 7 nominations in
the Best Community Project Award.
Moor in Bloom gained a Silver award for the Urban Community category.
Many Congratulations to everyone who was involved in the projects for
their hard work and commitment.
